Robert Half HR Solutions is looking for a contract HR Generalist to support our client in Lithonia GA. This contract engagement is hoping to start in December 2025 and has the potential to become contract to full time. This role is 100% onsite in Lithonia. Only candidates who can work onsite 5 days a week can be considered for this role. This long-term contract role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in employee relations and Human Resources. You will collaborate with a team of HR experts to support key functions such as onboarding, benefits, and recruiting while occasionally traveling during open enrollment periods. There will be seasonal travel in the Fall to support their field based employees.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

• Administer HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and orientation to ensure seamless transitions for employees.

• Provide backup support for benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely management of enrollment and claims.

• Handle unemployment claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

• Assist with recruitment efforts, including identifying candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain and update HR systems and records.

• Travel as needed, especially during open enrollment periods, to provide onsite HR support.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with organizational goals.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR-related matters.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on employee relations.

• Proven ability to manage HR administrative tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, and orientation.

• Solid understanding of benefits administration and HR compliance requirements.

• Experience handling unemployment claims and related documentation.

• Familiarity with HRIS systems and their functionalities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and leadership.

• Ability to travel occasionally, particularly during open enrollment periods.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
