Join our healthcare finance team as a Payment Posting Clerk. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for accurately recording and reconciling patient payments, supporting billing processes, and ensuring financial records are maintained with precision.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Accurately post patient and insurance payments to appropriate accounts in billing software

+ Reconcile daily deposits and resolve any payment discrepancies

+ Communicate with billing team members to ensure accounts are updated and balanced

+ Review explanation of benefits (EOBs) and other relevant documentation for proper payment allocation

+ Maintain confidential patient financial records and support month-end reporting

+ Provide exceptional customer service in resolving payment issues

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in medical payment posting or healthcare finance preferred

+ Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with medical billing software is a plus

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting or healthcare administration is an asset
