• Senior Database Engineer

    Description

    We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and manage modern data solutions. This role builds scalable data platforms, integrations, and Power BI dashboards that drive data-based decision-making. The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with IT and business teams to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient data capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Design scalable Microsoft data solutions, data models, and database structures.

    + Build and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions integrating cloud and on-prem data.

    + Utilize tools like DataBricks, Lakehouse, Fabric Spark, PySpark, and SQL for data processing.

    + Maintain documentation, data models, and data flow diagrams.

    + Ensure seamless data pipelines supporting analytics and BI platforms.

    + Support data governance, data quality, lineage, and security standards.

    + Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.

    + Develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and custom visualizations.

    + Implement row-level security and integrate Power BI into applications.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and deliver BI/reporting needs.

    Requirements

    Requirements

    + 8+ years of experience in data engineering.

    + Strong proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architecture, DataBricks, data modeling, and database design.

    + Proficiency in SQL, Python, Azure, and data integration tools.

    + Strong ETL experience, including SSIS.

    + Experience with Azure, MS SQL, and Fabric components.

    + 3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.

    + Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills.

    Nice to Have:

    + Data Governance experience.

    + Experience or knowledge of MuleSoft, Anypoint Platform, or similar middleware tools.
