The College Community School District (CCSD) is seeking an experienced, energetic, collaborative, and student-centered candidate to serve as the Administrative Assistant for the Superintendent and CFO. This individual will also act as the Board Recording Secretary.
Under the supervision of the Superintendent, CFO and the Board, the Administrative Assistant will support the day to day operations of the College Community School District. This includes the preparation of materials for meetings and special projects, maintaining calendars, preparing reports, memos, presentations, databases, spreadsheets, answering phones, providing professional customer service in both written and verbal formats, etc. As the Board Recording Secretary, you must be available for all scheduled and emergency board meetings beyond your normally scheduled work hours. Responsible for the creation and procuring or supporting documents, notice and publication (Ia. Code 279.35), and minutes of each meeting in compliance with Iowa code.
The successful candidate will display the highest levels of ethics and quality in his or her personal communication, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
This position is within the Confidential Work Group and is a 12 Month position.
+ Typical hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm, 8 hours per day
+ This position requires the need for flexible hours, related to the Board Recording Secretary Role. It would require the ability to work until 8:30pm one/two nights per month.
+ Salary Range for this position is $55,000-60,000 per year.
+ Terms of Employment: Full Time Position 260 Day
+ Exempt contract includes: 21 Non-Work Days 12 Paid Holidays
