Senior Financial Analyst, Data and Analytics

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Build dynamic dashboards and self-service reports in Sigma Computing, as well as other visualization tools

+ Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and tools to ensure they evolve with business needs.

+ Create intuitive visualizations that clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights.

+ Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support.

+ Improve financial margins by proactively analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

+ Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

+ Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.

+ Market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

+ Create executive dashboards and reports that show how we are tracking against our pricing goals.

+ Help drive system and process improvements that better accomplish the above.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or related field — or equivalent experience.

+ 3+ years of experience, preferably in analytics-driven environments.

+ Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

+ Solid financial analysis foundation, including building forecasts, models, and performance insights.

+ **Familiarity with relational databases and centralized data environments; ability to navigate data lakes and understand table structures, joins, and data lineage.**

+ **SQL proficiency or strong aptitude to write, interpret, and troubleshoot queries to validate data, build extracts, and analyze large datasets.**

+ **Experience working with BI, reporting, or analytics tools (e.g., Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, Workday).**

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling, automation, and data transformation.

+ Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions, automate manual work, and drive continuous improvement.

+ Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to identify drivers, close data gaps, and apply sound logic.

+ Ability to solve practical problems and analyze processes to recommend enhancements.

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data findings into clear business insights.

+ Commitment to providing outstanding internal customer service to Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams.
