Special Education Teacher – $46/hr – Huntsville, TX

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary inclusion classroom in Huntsville, TX. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role provides quality services to students in grades K–12 and collaborates with general education staff to implement individualized programs and support student success.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Huntsville, TX

+ Start Date: January 5, 2026

+ End Date: End of 2025–2026 School Year

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

+ Duration: 19 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $46/hour

+ Modality: Inclusion, Elementary

Responsibilities:

+ Provide specialized instruction and support in an inclusion setting

+ Collaborate with general education teachers and staff

+ Assist in planning and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)

+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

+ Valid Texas teaching certificate with Special Education certification (Elementary level)

+ Generalist or Core certification preferred

+ Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Current CPR, TB questionnaire, and health certificate if applicable

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
