Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor - General Ultrasound

Join our *Ultrasound* team to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations in a dynamic imaging environment. This role combines hands-on patient care, technical expertise, and leadership responsibilities.
This full-time *Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor (General Ultrasound)* role is based at the TMC location and oversees the General Ultrasound Section. Responsibilities rotate between the *outpatient* and *inpatient *departments, requiring flexibility in hours and days to meet operational or staffing needs. The Supervisor must be on-site, with a minimum of 50% scanning time, and be prepared to step in and support the team across any location or shift as needed. The supervisors will alternate leading the ride-out team.
An Ideal Candidate will have Ultrasound experience, lead/supervisory experience, and be licensed for Ultrasound with ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMS.
Our team consists of 15 full-time technologists, 7 Per Diem Technologists, 1 Technologist assistant, and 2 supervisors, managing approximately 100 patients daily. Inpatient services operate 24/7, including holidays. Supervisors and full-time technologists share on-call duties for nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure coverage.
*The patient population will include both inpatient and outpatient settings.*
Shift Hours:
* *Saturday and Sunday*: 8AM-4:30PM (inpatient)
* *Wednesday to Friday*:
* 8AM-4:30PM (rotate between inpatient and outpatient)
* 9:30AM-6PM (rotate between inpatient and outpatient)
*Key Responsibilities*
Provide patient care within scope of practice (e.g., assessments, IV insertion, education, medication administration).
Ensure patient safety, privacy, and compliance with infection control and HIPAA standards.
Operate imaging equipment, perform quality assurance, and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize workflow and patient experience.
Lead huddles, mentor staff, and support quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain licensure, certifications, and adherence to regulatory/accreditation standards.

EDUCATION
Required: Graduate of a Radiology Technology, Ultrasound Technology, or Nuclear Medicine Technology program. or
Required: Associate's Degree Applied Science degree.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: 2 years Experience as a Registered Technologist. and
Required: 1 year Lead/supervisory experience.
: Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
