PCR/Lemay is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused **Diesel Mechanic** in **Frederickson, WA** , to support our heavy‑duty truck and trailer maintenance teams. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, CDL premium, swing‑shift differential, and a $5,000 stay‑on bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
+ **Hourly Rate:** $35.00 – $36.00/hour
+ **CDL Premium:** Additional $1.00/hour for Class A or B CDL holders
+ **Shift Differential:** +$1.50/hour for swing shift
+ **Stay‑On Bonus:** $5,000

Schedule & Overtime
+ **Shift:** Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
+ **Overtime:** Average 8–10 hours/week; paid at 1.5×
+ **Shift:** Swing shift with differential applied
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks/trailers
+ Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, andair systems
+ Usediagnostic toolsand software (Cummins Insite, Davie‑4, Allison DOC)
+ Perform DOT and OSHA‑compliantsafety inspections
+ ExecuteMIG weldingand basic fabrication tasks
+ Test drive vehicles to confirm repair quality/performance
+ Record repairs, parts, and hours usingfleet maintenance software
+ Review and act on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
+ Ensure a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
+ Communicate repairs and issues effectively with drivers and supervisors
+ Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance
Required Qualifications
+ Minimum of 3 years heavy truck/diesel mechanicexperience
+ Intermediate proficiency withdiagnostic toolsand software
+ Valid Driver’s License; **Class B CDL preferred** (or obtain within 90 days)
+ Welding experience (MIG) preferred
+ Solid understanding of DOT, OSHA, and vehicle safety standards
+ Ability to read and apply service and technical documentation
+ Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
+ Own basic mechanic tool set
