• Full Stack Software Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Full stack Software Engineering to join a client of ours in the Kansas City area. In this role, you will work closely with the Software Engineering Manager to develop and execute multiple large-scale projects in parallel. You will be responsible for writing clean, well-designed code that meets all provided product specifications while continuously refactoring, optimizing, and improving the existing codebase for scalability and maintainability. Additionally, you will document product architecture, sub-components, and development processes to ensure clarity and consistency across the team. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining core product software and databases to guarantee strong performance, optimization, and functionality. As a key contributor, you will actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, driving quality and efficiency throughout each stage.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5-7+ years of experience as a hands on engineer

    • Database expertise (MySQL and Redshift ideally), with large amounts of data

    • Experience with PHP 7 or above

    • UI experience with JQuery

    • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS is preferred) • Bachelor's Degree

    • Background in reporting, analytics, data engineering, etc.
