Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will perform analytical work concerned with overall financial programs, budgetary planning and execution. You will assist senior staff members in the collection and analysis of data, performing a variety of duties with an increasing degree of difficulty and responsibility. You will apply commonly used budget and/or finance practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, policies, and guides that specifically pertain to the work assigned. You will analyze customer requirements, make recommendations for solving problems, and translate the requirements into solutions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive, detailed knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations. Detailed intensive knowledge of policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area. Intensive knowledge of administrative and financial management systems. Skill in identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of budgetary problems such as development of alternative methods of funding; formulation of budget estimates for programs in which funding requirements have changed significantly. A high degree of skill in analytical reasoning, ability to apply skill to the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions.
