    Company description

Welcome to the LePub network: São Paulo, Milan, Rome, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Singapore, Johannesburg. Where brands meet culture.

Our DNA? Data, creativity and tech.

    Overview

The ideal Group Account Director is a leader, someone with the tenacity, resourcefulness, business sense, pro-active curiosity, and cool-headedness to behave like the CEO of their account, brand or project. The account person is the only person in the agency who touches every aspect of a project in some way: from the relationship with the client, to the relationship with the team, from strategy to finance to creative to production. It is ultimately the role of an account person at any level to ensure that a project meets the client and agency’s ambitions to generate great, effective creative work, on time and on budget, and to motivate the team along the way. As the Group Account Director, you will deepen the client relationship and grow their business in a meaningful way. Your day-to-day work will be strategic in nature, developing initiatives and providing creative, practical solutions to client issues.

    Responsibilities

The Group Account Director is the agency’s quarterback - they are able to create the conditions for the creative work to thrive. They have high emotional intelligence and are able to nurture junior team members as well as client relationships.

The Group Account Director is expected to be a business partner across multiple clients, using their deep knowledge and understanding of the clients business in order to create the best conditions for the right work to thrive, leading to the success and growth of both our partners and our agency.

They manage internal teams (direct reports, colleagues and seniors) with poise, clarity and integrity building followership across the board.

Your colleagues want your input, opinion and approval. People trust you. They navigate the global LePub process effortlessly and are able to lean on the internal expertise available (across offices) to deliver outstanding creative solutions to a range of business problems.

They are fluent in all phases of the creative process from strategy, through creative to production and are able to bring their expertise to bear at each stage. They are able to foresee issues before they arise and head them off. They take pressure off the team by tackling the difficult conversations and knowing when to escalate for support.

They understand how to create the right environment for creative ideas to thrive and feel the responsibility of continuously keeping great ideas alive throughout all parts of the process.

They are entrepreneurial and always on the hunt for growth on their accounts. They keep their eyes out for client needs and are able to quickly translate these needs into a solution which grows the agency business.

They also act as a problem solver that is solutions oriented and gets excited by big problems and tackling new challenges that don’t have a clear proven path

Given the startup nature of our agency, this person must have the ability to toggle between altitudes and jump in on responsibilities typically managed by an Account director while also managing up at the most senior parts of leading a business and punching above their weight.
