Brief Description
The Production Specialist is responsible for:
+ Efficient management of LAP inspection documents including:
+ Inspector Packets
+ Accreditation Packets
+ Accreditation Letters
+ Inspection Summation Reports
+ Working independently using critical thinking skills to manage inspection processes for all programs.
+ Providing customer service for inspection processes.
Specific Duties
Primary duties and responsibilities of the Production Specialist :
+ Review and organize inspection/accreditation materials and correspondence in preparation for scanning and/or shipment.
+ Receive and generate inspection documents in SCORES application.
+ Utilize various network applications to effectively document workflow.
+ Investigate and communicate with staff regarding incomplete and misdirected inspection materials.
+ Enter team members and specialty inspectors into SCORES.
+ Call inspector(s) to clarify data (if necessary).
+ Monitor appropriate cycle events to maintain timelines.
+ Follow-up promptly with CAP staff and inspectors regarding overdue and incomplete inspection events.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies between SCORES and CCS Viewer imaged documents.
+ Work with Customer Data Management (CDM) for troubleshooting and correcting problems with imaging, data entry, etc.
+ Investigate, resolve, and respond to inquiries and problems related to inspection documentation.
+ Analyze, record, organize and review inspection and post-inspection materials for all accreditation programs.
+ Maintain accurate files of all materials received from inspectors and laboratories in various stages of completion.
+ Maintain information and update records in UPS Trackpad, CAP staff portal, and SCORES as needed.
+ Investigate and resolve all failed and missing print output.
+ Maintain stock of inspection material inserts
+ Enter Conflicts of Interest and perform necessary follow up.
+ Participate as a productive team member to assure that department goals and objectives are met.
+ Act as a backup for other LAP production processes.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager.

+ Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Able to prioritize fluctuating workload with multiple demands.
Technical:
+ Proficient computer skills and in the use of proprietary applications.
Outlook, Windows Office, and the Internet.
Education / Experience
Education:
+ College degree preferred.
Experience:
+ 2 years experience in a business or customer service environment.
+ Laboratory experience a plus.

Additional Information:
This position is based out of Northfield, IL. Candidates must reside within 75-miles of the Northfield office.
Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 hourly
