Job Description
**Join Teledyne Battery Products and help power the future of aviation!** We’re a trusted leader in high-performance batteries for general aviation, and we’re looking for a skilled Grid Casting Operator to join our Pasting/Casting Department. If you thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment and value precision, safety, and teamwork, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
+ Operate and monitor Wirtz ConCast continuous grid casting machinery to produce lead-acid battery grids.
+ Set up, calibrate, and maintain equipment to meet specifications for thickness, alloy type, and structural integrity.
+ Perform routine maintenance and quality inspections to ensure zero-scrap production.
+ Keep accurate production and quality records while following all safety protocols.
What you need
+ High school diploma or GED (required)
+ 2+ years in casting or similar manufacturing processes (required)
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment (required)
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a noisy, high-temperature environment (required)
+ Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)
+ Experience with Wirtz ConCast or similar continuous grid casting systems (preferred)
+ Familiarity with lead-alloy chemistry used in battery grids (preferred)
+ Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment (preferred)

Salary Range:
$32,300.00-$43,100.000
