    Job Description

    **Build high-performance RF/Microwave interconnect solutions!** Teledyne Storm Microwave, located near Chicago, IL, has been a trusted provider of advanced cable assemblies for defense and telecom markets since 1978. Join our team and help deliver precision-engineered products that meet the highest industry standards.

    What you’ll do

    + Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under close supervision.

    + Assemble units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and PC boards.

    + Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot air techniques.

    + Install and remove discrete components (transformers, resistors, capacitors, etc.) on printed circuit assemblies.

    + Assemble connectors, perform interface gage measurements, and shrink marker sleeves and strain reliefs.

    + Check mechanical length of cables and ensure compliance with specifications.

    + Read and interpret documents and drawings accurately.

    + Lift and move parts, bins, and boxes as needed.

    What you need

    + High school diploma or equivalent (required).

    + Soldering experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification (preferred).

    + Basic math skills and 1–2 years of related experience (preferred).

    + Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).

    Salary Range:

    $29,400.00-$39,200.000
