    Job Description:

    + The Associate Test Engineer will support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of new technologies within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role involves hands-on work with electrical, digital, and optomechanical systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working independently on moderately complex assignments that require sound judgment and technical analysis.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform setup, calibration, functional testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

    + Determine or contribute to test specifications, methods, and procedures based on engineering drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.

    + Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or complete system-level tests; perform rework as needed based on test outcomes.

    + Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending corrective actions.

    + Assist with selecting, configuring, and validating specialized test equipment.

    + Execute daily tasks with minimal supervision and manage new assignments with general guidance.

    + Work effectively within cleanroom environments and maintain compliance with protocols.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams across multiple locations.

    Experience:

    + 2–4 years of hands-on experience in electrical and/or optomechanical system testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

    + Experience developing system-level requirements, test specifications, and test documentation.

    + Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DVMs, and other electronic test and measurement tools.

    + Ability to use fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches, calipers, and precision instruments.

    + Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, mathematical formulas, and handbooks.

    + Experience with LabVIEW, Linux, and MS Office Suite.

    Skills:

    + Electrical/Optomechanical system

    + Hand/Power Tool

    + Interpret Technical drawings/schematics

    Education:

    + Technical Degree or equivalent practical experience.
