+ This role is part of the Operations Administration team within the Airports Division. The Manager, Workforce Administration leads centralized timekeeping and payroll functions for frontline Airport team members, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role also supports both Airports and Contact Centers by planning, organizing, and directing payroll-related activities.

• Leads a workforce administration team responsible for providing accurate and timely timekeeping and payroll support for the Airports organization
• Ensures adherence to contractual agreement(s) and company policies, while maintaining accurate team member attendance records including vacation, overtime, training, lost time administration and state leave administration
• Collaborates and communicates with Labor Relations, Legal, station partners and executive leadership, and with Contact Center timekeeping teams to leverage synergies and best practices across the organization
• Manages and develops workforce administration team members, including guidance on prioritization of daily activities for the group
• Identifies effective approaches to efficiently support high volume transactional work throughout the team (system transactions and frontline team member support)
• Prepares and assesses various reports covering departmental activities
• Develops data-driven strategies for driving process improvement and improving the division’s ability to manage resources
• Interacts to solve workforce matters with the aforementioned groups and identified union leaders as needed
• Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices to ensure efficiency
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary
• Must be willing to travel required up to 20%
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
• 5 years proven experience in a leadership/management role or relevant experience
• Experience with process improvement in operations and/or production environments
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
• Demonstrates curiosity and experience in leveraging AI to drive process efficiency and effectiveness
• Experience working with a contract labor group
• Previous call center experience with chat functionality
• Previous experience with system implementation and testing
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
• Knowledge of the applicable workforce collective bargaining agreements, for CWA / IBT and and TWU / IAM
• Knowledge of Microsoft office to include Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of payroll and time and attendance applications, including but not limited to Workbrain, APS, Tableau
• Ability to demonstrate excellent analytical thinking capabilities
• Ability to utilize database/reporting tools to prepare reports for analysis and management review
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple assignments and shift priorities as required, within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Ability to manage, non-management and contract labor work groups
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
• Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
• Must pass a background reference check and criminal fingerprint check
