    As a **Security Guard - Bank Security Patrol** in **New York, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond professionally to any situation.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergencies.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

    + Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.

    + Document activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.

    + Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit of personnel and/or visitors as directed by site guidelines.

    + Communicate with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or routine operations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

    + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
