As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or escorting individuals as needed.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

+ Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing healthcare facility conditions and requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
