As a **Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Government Facility** in **New York, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at the location.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

+ Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
