As a **Security Professional - Armed Retail Patrol** in **Midland, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all. Your presence and professionalism will provide reassurance to customers and staff, while your Level III Armed Certification allows you to respond confidently to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while carrying out patrol duties at the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual observations according to Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with site management and Allied Universal.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Level III Armed Certification (Texas Only) is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
