As a **Elite Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist** in **San Antonio, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. In this armed and driving role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and contribute to a positive atmosphere that reflects our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to employees and customers.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.

+ Work in varying environments and conditions based on the specific needs of the retail location.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following established protocols for armed security-related posts.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Level III armed security license in Texas is required.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
