Now Hiring Healthcare Security Officers in Christiansburg, VA!

+ **Pay Rate: 20.00 / hour**

+ **Shifts: M-F 1600-0001**

Role** **Duties:

+ Provide adedicated professionalSecurity Presenceina healthcare setting

+ Promote Patient Safety with consistent patrols, De-escalation Tactics, and a focus oncompassionatecare

+ Assistmedical staffin high-intensityincidents & emergencies

+ Conduct Patient safetyscreenings,Provide access control,and customer serviceassistance

+ Complete accurateafter-actionreports for incidents and calls for service

+ Assist Medical team with medical restraintsas trained,Transport Deceased patients to the morgue

+ Maintain Hospital Safety and security policies and patientsafetyand dignitywith the highestlevel of professionalism

Minimum** **Requirements:

+ High school diploma/GED verifiable by a 3rdparty background check

+ At least 2 years of verifiable work history with nogaps in employmentmore than 90 days

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements

+ Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations

+ Strong communication and customer service skills

+ Ability to stand/walk long periods and respond quickly when needed

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

+ Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone

+ Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field

+ Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies

+ A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch

+ Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
