As a **Security Guard - Hospital Unarmed Patrol** in **Long Beach, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication to those at the location. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or situations.

+ Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the healthcare facility.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities as required, including providing guidance and information to individuals within the location.

+ Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and other personnel to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
