As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Shift** in **Miami, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.

+ Assist with the enforcement of location-specific regulations and protocols.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.

+ Work closely with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during critical events.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
