    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.

    + Document all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift according to company and client requirements.

    + Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required for incidents or emergencies at the location.

    + Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications related to armed patrol duties.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

    + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
