Description
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and deliver engagement programs that delight our customers and deepen their relationship with Amazon’s grocery offerings. This person will design, test, and scale engagement strategies. They will flex their analytical and creative abilities to design, experiment, and build marketing programs that help customers experience and understand how Amazon Grocery can provide value. They will support work to optimize the Prime customer journey across Amazon’s family of grocery offerings. Additionally, they will explore ways to enhance the value of a Prime membership for WWGS shoppers.
Key job responsibilities
-Develop a deep understanding of customer cohorts to identify motivators and align business opportunities.
-Own planning, designing, and executing marketing initiatives that drive adoption of new shopping behaviors and lead to repeat purchasing.
-Conduct analyses to determine program effectiveness, continuously improving programs and initiatives.
-Collaborate with WWGS and broader Amazon teams to drive experiments on new benefits, coupons and marketing strategies.
-Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Channel, Product, and eCommerce teams to align on support for both marketing and business objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
- Experience creating brand marketing content
- BA degree, or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
- Experience with A/B or multivariate testing
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
