    Nurse Assistant Instructor

     

    Status: Part-Time

     

    Hours: Park City High School scheduled ‘White Days’, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

     

    Pay/Salary: DOE

    Responsibilities of the Nurse Assistant Instructor include, but are not limited to:

    + Delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings.

    + Supporting student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning.

    + Ensuring your curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations.

    + Partnering with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience.

    + Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness.

    + Actively participating in program development, accreditation efforts, employer advisory committees, and campus-wide events.

    What We're Looking For:

    We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:

     

    + Education: A high school diploma or its equivalent.

    + Experience: Must have 3 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a long-term facility or caring for the elderly or chronically ill.

    + Industry Credentials & Certifications: Must be a licensed nurse with a current, active Utah license to practice and is in good standing.

    + Teaching Skills: Must know instructional strategies and techniques, as well as the ability to successfully interact with high school and adult students in a professional manner.

    + Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in communication, time management, and organization.

    + Attention to Detail: A keen ability to assess student performance, ensure industry standards are met, and maintain accurate records.
