    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for the receipt of biological lab specimens into the department. Performs pre and post analytical sorting of specimens for distribution to the appropriate areas.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    + Good reading, writing and math abilities.

    + Oral and written communication skills sufficient to understand written and spoken instructions in English.

    + Good organization skills.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Minimum age requirement of 18.

    + Must meet all training competency qualifications for Specimen Preparation Sorter within six months of hire.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
