    Senior Technical Solutions Consultant

    Job Description:

    The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will be responsible for actively driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Senior Technical solution consultants will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to remove objections related to technology infrastructure, scalability and security. The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will also act as mentor for less experienced technical staff. The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will uncover business requirements, develop a solution architecture that leverages Sage Intacct’s solutions including advanced modules to address customer requirements.

    Uncapped earnings:

    Our compensation structure includes a base salary plus commission. We believe that if you put in the work, you should be rewarded for it.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will be responsible for presenting the benefits of Sage Intacct’s solutions, including advanced modules, to all levels including lines of business managers, IT managers, developers and “C” level executives.

    • The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will develop solution architectures that demonstrate Sage Intacct’s best-in-class strategy.

    • The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will mentor the application engineers and serve as the lead for developing POCs using

    o Sage Intacct Web Services API’s

    o Sage Intacct Platform Product

    o Sage Intacct Integrations with third party applications

    • The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will lead discussions on technology infrastructure, scalability and security and provide best practice recommendations for integrating systems with Sage Intacct

    • Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Corporate Sales Representatives

    • Assist the marketing department in conducting webinars and product sessions at user conferences

    • Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed

    Job Requirements:

    • BS in Computer Science or related field. MBA a plus.

    • 7+ experience as a solutions consultant (accounting or financial software application experience preferred)

    • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience working with any web-based programming languages such as PHP, Python, Perl, JavaScript and XML

    • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a customer interfacing support role

    • Excellent understanding of database technologies, systems security and integration techniques between systems using web services

    • Legacy ERP technology background and exposure to standard accounting modules (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Invoicing) is highly desired

    • Hands-on experience with SaaS applications such asSalesForce.comis highly desired

    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
