Adecco is currently seeking highly motivated Forklift Operators for one of our clients in Phoenix.
Job Summary
The Transload Operator is responsible for handling, inventory, and shipping activities within a terminal environment. Daily tasks include unloading inbound railcars, trucks, and containers, as well as loading outbound vehicles. The operator works safely in both warehouse and outdoor yard settings while handling a variety of industrial products such as lumber, plywood, coils, rebar, beams, plate, pipe, soda ash, and sheetrock.
This role involves operating power equipment, including forklifts of various sizes. Strong attention to detail is required when counting and recording products. The operator must follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain efficient, accurate workflow and will learn company shipping processes to ensure shipments are completed correctly each day.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prioritize health and safety by following all safety rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
+ Operate forklifts of various sizes.
+ Ensure the safe operation of all assigned equipment.
+ Operate the on-site certified scale and issue weight certificates per standard procedures.
+ Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by management based on business needs.
+ Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, agency, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 6+ months of industrial or construction experience required.
Preferred
+ Experienced forklift operator.

**Pay Details:** $21.45 per hour
