As the CPIP Prevention Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
+ Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, family systems and child development related to implementation of prevention programming across the lifespan.
+ Have the ability to receive on-going staff development and retain awareness of trends and data related to the culture of alcohol and substance abuse.
+ Provide substance abuse education and intervention services in virtual and in-person capacity, utilizing evidence-based practices and programs.
+ Research and implement evidence/research/science-based substance abuse prevention programs.
+ Facilitate evidence-based and other prevention programming as determined by the Network, OASAS and Catholic Charities of Herkimer County.
+ Provide information and referral services, community awareness activities and speaking engagements.
CPIP Prevention Specialist Minimum Salary: $19.00
CPIP Prevention Specialist Maximum Salary: $21.00
CPIP Prevention Specialis t Schedule:
+ Full Impact Work Week: 5 Days, Monday - Friday 8AM to 3:30PM
Qualifications:
+ Associates Degree in Human Services or related field
+ 1-3 years of experience working with a diverse population
