Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a dynamic environment, and has a strong background in accounting practices. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Utilize Blackbaud software to perform accounting tasks and streamline financial processes.

• Process cash applications efficiently, ensuring timely posting and reconciliation.

• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end close activities.

• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies in all financial procedures.

• Provide support for audits and resolve any identified issues promptly.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance accounting processes and systems. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.

• Proficiency in managing general ledger functions and related accounting processes.

• Hands-on experience with Blackbaud software is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in cash applications and account reconciliations.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including working with formulas and data analysis tools.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
