    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic office environment where adaptability and independence are highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.

    • Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing necessary journal entries.

    • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately.

    • Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

    • Utilize QuickBooks or similar software to manage financial records and reports.

    • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

    • Provide support for financial audits by preparing documentation and resolving inquiries.

    • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and handle tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

    • Handle ad hoc financial tasks as needed to support the organization.

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper or staff accountant.

     

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

    • Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entry preparation.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

    • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
