Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced (5-10+ yrs) Legal Word Processor to join our team fully on-site in New York, New York for the 6PM-1AM SHIFT. In this role, you will provide critical support to legal teams by ensuring accurate document preparation and formatting. This temporary position offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the legal field. There will be training provided for the first week from 9AM - 5PM or 10AM - 6PM. Car service is provided at the end of the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and format legal or other business documents with precision and attention to detail.

• Utilize advanced features in Microsoft Word and iManage to work on legal or other business documents.

• Manage PDFs using Foxit, including editing and organizing files.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain the quality of deliverables.

• Provide reliable and timely support to a busy department with changing priorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5-10+ yrs) in word processing, preferably in corporate, legal, or professional settings.

• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.

• Familiarity with opposing counsel and law department workflows.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in relevant software tools such as, Microsoft Word, iManage, and Foxit, for document preparation and management.

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
