Description We are looking for a motivated Discovery Paralegal/Clerk to join a leading plaintiff trial firm in Los Angeles, California. This is a Contract to permanent position offering a dynamic environment where you will gain valuable mentorship and hands-on experience while contributing to impactful litigation cases. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, thriving in a fast-paced legal setting.

Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials, using provided templates.

• Assist with court filings and ensure compliance with filing requirements.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

• Collaborate with attorneys on trial preparation, including organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.

• Receive mentorship and training from experienced senior associates to enhance career growth.

• Maintain a sense of urgency and precision when handling tasks to meet deadlines.

• Participate in team discussions and contribute to case development.

• Coordinate with clients and other parties involved in litigation to gather necessary information.

• Manage case files and documentation to ensure organization and accessibility.

• Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate efficient operations. Requirements • Juris Doctor degree or equivalent legal education.

• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

• Proficiency in conducting legal research and familiarity with civil litigation processes.

• Previous experience in plaintiff-side litigation is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Prior involvement in law school clubs, internships, or community outreach is a plus.

• Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday.
