    Cornell Scott Hill Health Corporation, a leader in community health services, is expanding and seeking an experienced APRN to join our team on a per diem basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a nationally recognized Federally Qualified Health Center where treating the whole person is at the heart of what we do.

    Summary

    The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse practices medicine under a collaborative agreement with a departmental physician, with both disciplines practicing within the scope and boundaries of State regulations. Provides reasonable and prudent medical/surgical care, practices appropriate management, and uses sound clinical judgment based on best practice standards and evidence-based medicine. Provides general medical care, patient education, and treatment to patients of CS-HHC. Promotes and maintains health by providing services under the supervision of the Department Chief/Physician.

    + A nurse practitioner must have an MSN degree and current CT RN/APRN licensure. CPR certification is required.

    + Nurse Practitioner with work experience and a knowledge base to perform the duties. One (1) year of experience as a health care provider is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome.

    Per Diem Requirements:

    The position requires a flexible availability from Monday through Friday 8:30a to 5pm, and Saturday from 8:30 - 12:30pm, with shifts of up to 8 hours per day during the week, as needed. Responsibilities include providing coverage for colleagues' sick days and vacation time. To maintain a Per Diem status, the APRN must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month, not to exceed 19 hours per week.
