Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Dania Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at resolving billing discrepancies with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payments and accurate account activity.

• Monitor aging reports daily and proactively reach out to customers before payments become overdue.

• Conduct effective collection calls, negotiate payment arrangements, and document follow-up actions.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes, collaborating with internal teams as needed.

• Process various payment methods, including checks, wires, and credit card transactions, with precision.

• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure all transactions and data are accurate and complete.

• Set up new customer profiles, verify business details, and enter information into the system.

• Prepare and send customer notices, account statements, and other necessary documentation.

• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in collections.

• Support additional accounting tasks or special projects as required. Requirements • 5–7 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit management within a B2B environment.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in using accounting systems; experience with Coins or similar platforms is preferred.

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Comfortable working under deadlines and achieving collection targets.

• Familiarity with payment portals and banking tools.

• Must be available to work on-site daily for timely processing and collaboration.
