Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team on a contract basis in Franklin, Tennessee. This role involves overseeing payroll operations for a large workforce across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all processes. The position is onsite and provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and expertise in payroll management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll processing for a large, multi-state workforce, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Oversee manual payroll operations and address complex payroll challenges.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

• Utilize Paycom software to streamline payroll activities and reporting.

• Collaborate with the accounting manager to maintain payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Handle payroll for a workforce of over 2,000 employees, demonstrating attention to detail and efficiency.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the payroll team, fostering a productive work environment.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements.

• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, resolving issues professionally and promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes for a large workforce.

• Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations.

• Proficiency in Paycom software or similar payroll systems.

• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, including state and federal compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and support a payroll team.

• Ability to work onsite in Franklin, Tennessee.
