Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead and oversee the accounting operations of our organization in Midland, Texas. This role requires a proactive individual who excels at managing teams, streamlining processes, and ensuring accurate financial documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a strategic mindset to drive efficiency and compliance within the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely execution of financial tasks.

• Redesign and document accounting processes to optimize efficiency and maintain compliance.

• Oversee the preparation and management of financial reports and statements.

• Monitor and enforce deadlines for accounting projects and tasks to maintain operational flow.

• Evaluate and implement improvements in financial practices and procedures.

• Ensure proper control and organization of all financial documentation.

• Manage document scanning and compilation processes to maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with leadership to provide strategic financial insights and decision-making support.

• Review and clean up existing accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Establish clear guidelines and workflows for accounting operations and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proven expertise in document control and organization.

• Skilled in scanning and compiling financial documents.

• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes.

• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Proficient in financial reporting and analysis.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
