• Release Manager

    Robert Half Technology (Chicago, IL)


    Description

    We are seeking a highly experienced Release Manager with strong project management capabilities to support a complex application development program. This role is approximately 70% release management and 30% project management, working within a large stakeholder environment that requires strong communication skills and the ability to navigate differing priorities and personalities.

    Skillset/Qualifications:

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and manage release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple teams.

     

    Support medium- to low-complexity projects within a SAFe Agile framework.

     

    Partner with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of application development initiatives.

     

    Identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively drive issues to resolution.

     

    Provide structure, governance, and visibility across release cycles.

     

    Contribute PM support as needed, including updates, reporting, and coordination.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    Proven SAFe Agile experience.

     

    Strong background in release management combined with project management exposure.

     

    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with strong personalities and manage high-visibility stakeholders.

     

    Experience supporting application development environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Healthcare industry experience.

     

    Familiarity with payer systems.

     

    Local candidates preferred (DC or Chicago), though remote candidates will be considered.
