    Electrical Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support MEP design for projects across the country. The engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for various federal projects, utilizing REVIT, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Electrical software.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop electrical systems for federal projects.

    + Utilize REVIT, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Electrical for project design.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support MEP design.

    + Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and IBC standards.

    + Contribute to the integration of BIM in project design.

    + Incorporate sustainable design practices when applicable.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

    + 3 to 5+ years of electrical design experience within a consulting firm.

    + Proficiency in NEC, NESC, IEEE, and IBC standards.

    + Experience with California Title 24 Energy Code.

    + Familiarity with BIM and Revit is essential.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + EIT certification with the ability to obtain a PE license.

    + Experience in electrical engineering and drafting.

    + Experience with sustainable design is desirable.

    + PE license is nice to have but not required.

    Work Environment

    The role is primarily based in an office setting, with occasional visits to project sites, though these are not common.     This is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
