Job Title: Environmental Technician

Overview:

Seeking a self-motivated Environmental Technician to support field operations, including remediation system maintenance and environmental sampling at industrial and commercial sites. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

•Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate and maintain remediation systems.

+ Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for performance and compliance.

+ Collect samples (water, soil, soil gas) and record system data.

+ Supervise subcontractors during remediation and repairs.

Requirements:

+ Positive, team-oriented attitude; strong mechanical skills.

+ Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.

+ Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varied conditions.

+ Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with remediation systems and site construction.

+ Familiarity with sampling techniques and environmental equipment.

+ Wastewater Treatment License, OSHA 40 HAZWOPER (training available).

+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills, especially in refinery/oil settings.

Work Environment:

Year-round outdoor fieldwork at Martinez Refinery; compliance with safety standards required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Martinez, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
