Job Title: RF Technician

Job Description

Seeking an experienced RF Engineering Technician with expertise in telemetry transmitter, receiver, and related subsystem design, test, qualification, and production support for frequencies from UHF to K-Band. Direct experience in L, S, and C-Band operation is highly desirable, along with mechanical skills suitable for building prototypes and test fixtures.

Responsibilities

+ Work with both analog and digital RF systems, ideally with experience in FM and digital modulation.

+ Build, test, and troubleshoot prototype designs from limited documentation and direction.

+ Set up and calibrate supporting test equipment.

+ Set up, adjust, and monitor environmental test equipment.

+ Collaborate with internal support and production personnel including assembly, inspection, and test.

+ Manage qualification testing and its supporting tasks, including equipment transport.

+ Generate test reports using MS Word and review and process MS Excel report generation.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in handling both analog and digital RF systems.

+ Experience with FM and digital modulation.

+ Ability to build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes.

+ Skills in setting up and calibrating test equipment.

+ Experience in managing qualification testing.

+ Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry.

+ Organized and detail-oriented team player.

+ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Work Environment

This role requires working on-site 5 days a week. The company is an industry leader in flight vehicle transmitters and receivers, offering high reliability in extreme operating environments. The work environment is dynamic and involves collaboration with various teams to ensure high efficiency in small form factors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Furlong, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
