    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Architect to join our team of talented professionals. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for healthcare architecture and a strong understanding of HCAI/OSHPD standards. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for managing both major and minor projects, ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout their lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage one major project and several smaller projects.

    + Oversee several less-experienced architects, coordinators, or designers, if required.

    + Mentor junior staff to develop technical excellence.

    + Collaborate with Principal and Project Manager to develop project design and maintain design intent throughout the life of the project.

    + Work with project planner/designer, Project Manager, Consultants, and Owner to develop project requirements (scope, program, etc.).

    + Oversee planning, design development, and production of working drawings and construction documents on a given project.

    + Prepare and/or supervise preparation of architectural plans and specifications.

    + Consult and direct manufacturers and engineers, evaluate and select materials.

    + Review architectural features of structures in the field and oversee construction administration.

    + Spearhead AHJ review (City, County, OSHPD, DSA) and verify compliance with building codes and regulations.

    + Work with project manager to organize and manage in-house and external project teams.

    + Manage QA/QC throughout the life of a project with an emphasis on technical excellence, constructability, and value-engineering.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project architect.

    + Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD software.

    + Licensed to practice architecture in California.

    + Experience with healthcare projects.

    + Understanding of HCAI/OSHPD standards.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.

    + Knowledge of healthcare architecture.

    + Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

     

    Hybrid Schedule Downtown office 1 day per week 2 days from project site 2 days from home

    This is a hybrid position in Los Angeles,CA.
