    •CNC Machine Maintenance Technician

    Job Title: Experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic

    **Location:** Tacoma, WA

    **Pay Range:** $24–$30/hour

    **Shift:** Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Role Summary

    We are looking for a **CNC Machine Maintenance Technician** to keep our aerospace manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. This position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery and related systems. The right candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, hydraulic presses, vacuum furnaces, and other production equipment.

    + Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, including PLC-controlled systems, and carry out timely repairs.

    + Conduct inspections to ensure machines meet operational and safety standards.

    + Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance and repair activities.

    + Source replacement parts and manage inventory for ongoing maintenance needs.

    + Document work performed using CMMS software and maintain accurate service records.

    + Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and plan maintenance activities around production schedules.

    + Train team members on equipment care and safe operating practices.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on CNC machinery.

    + Hands-on knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance practices.

    + Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Ability to use precision measuring tools and apply shop math.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience moving and setting up large equipment (forklifts, rigging).

    + Background in aerospace manufacturing environments.

    + Knowledge of industry codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $64792.00 - $92976.00/yr.

     

    Comprehensive coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, voluntary optional life, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance and critical illness insurance with competitive premium cost.

    401(k) Plan with company matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay.
