Now Hiring Production Workers in Red Lion, PA

Availability across all three shifts

Pay: $17.75-$19.35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and diligent production workers to join our team. As a production worker, you will use hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components of flooring and drop ceiling products. You will work collaboratively in a team to handle lifting, with individual lifting requirements up to 30-35lbs. There is potential for training on machinery for those who are hired.

Responsibilities

+ Learn and maintain a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery across various departments including Understructure, Ceiling Grid, and PWP.

+ Position parts and monitor operations on equipment to produce products at established production standards.

+ Make minor setups including changing plate sizes and setups for various sized tubes and studs.

+ Inspect panels or parts to verify that specifications meet quality standards.

+ Notify appropriate personnel of any issues and maintain accurate production reporting and quality paperwork.

+ Use banding equipment and hand-jacks for proper movement or storage of product or materials.

+ Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

+ Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.

+ Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Essential Skills

+ High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.

+ Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.

+ Ability to interface with a diverse workforce.

+ Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift.

+ Proficiency in using various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, dial indicators, and feeler gauges.

+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

+ Dexterity to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with hand tools, power tools, and machine operation is a plus.

+ Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both annex and main facilities. The annex is a clean and modern space, though loud, with about 15 employees working at a time, focusing on containment door assemblies. The main facility is older and larger, with about 40-60 employees per shift, and is also loud. The dress code requires long pants, short sleeves, and steel toe shoes with metatarsal protection. Shifts are structured with overtime opportunities, and orientation days are set for specific shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $19.35/hr.
