Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position offers two shifts: 1st shift from 5am-3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm-2am, with some flexibility. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays based on demand.

Responsibilities

+ Perform as a skilled craftsman in the typical duties of a maintenance mechanic.

+ Plan and perform work requiring electrical and electronic principles in the repair and maintenance of all plant equipment.

+ Follow all proper safety and housekeeping procedures.

+ Participate and assist in all training programs.

+ Coordinate work priorities with maintenance supervisor, engineering, production, management, and manufacturing.

+ Maintain a good stock of repair parts through ongoing organization and requisitioning of needed parts and supplies.

+ Plan and perform new equipment installation and testing, and reorganize existing equipment as needed.

+ Work overtime as an essential job function.

+ Comply with applicable safety training, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ CNC Maintenance experience.

+ PLC Logic/programming.

+ 480 volt electrical knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5-10 years’ experience in one or more specialized trade disciplines.

+ Specialized trade knowledge higher than that of a primary trade.

+ Familiarity with electrical, electronics, machine repair, machine tools, and robotics.

+ Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, ladder logic, computer numeric controls (CNC), programmable logic controls (PLC), and customized personal computer (PC) controls.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukegan, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
