    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to the construction and modification of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, ensuring their functionality and quality. You will work closely with engineers and leadership to enhance operational processes in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issue hardware.

    + Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.

    + Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies.

    + Proficiently use various mechanical tools.

    + Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.

    + Collaborate with engineers and leadership to implement operational improvements.

    + Adapt quickly to changing roles and responsibilities.

    + Contribute to coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a startup development environment.

    + Experience working in a flight development program.

    + A&P license is preferred.

    + Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from the first article to production.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components.

    + Ability to drill, ream, and countersink full-size holes in parts and assemblies.

    + Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment.

    + Previous systems development experience.

    + GSE build and operations experience.

    + Basic knowledge of GD&T and Microsoft Office.

    + Experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies.

    + Ability to design and fabricate necessary tooling.

    + Experience supervising large lifts and rigging.

    + Willingness to travel for test operations.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is partially climate-controlled, with large fans to combat summer heat. All necessary tools are provided, and the atmosphere is highly collaborative, promoting teamwork and innovative problem-solving.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be

    subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
