    Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description

     

    The role of a Production Associate involves working in the Slitting and Pleating departments to ensure the precise processing of filter media. The Slitting process requires cutting large rolls into narrower widths to meet specifications, ensuring consistent material size and quality. The Pleating process uses machines to form precise folds and involves handling and operating pleating machines and bandsaws. This role requires some lifting of raw materials up to 50 lbs and involves inventory control.

    Responsibilities

    + Cut large rolls of filter media into narrower widths with precision in the Slitting department.

    + Ensure consistent material size and quality for downstream processes.

    + Pull materials and manage returns for inventory control.

    + Load and operate pleating machines to form precise folds for filter media.

    + Cut pleating material using a bandsaw.

    + Handle materials to load machines efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production within a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to operate basic equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Skills in general production, machine operation, and general labor.

    + Experience in inspection processes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50/hr.
