Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing defective parts in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical fixtures. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators, exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices. Additional responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on field electrical systems, testing solid-state circuitry, and installing enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems.

Responsibilities:

+ Repair and replace defective parts in electrical systems and components

+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical components of machinery and equipment

+ Perform preventive maintenance on field electrical systems and devices

+ Test solid-state circuitry for defects in digital and analog equipment

+ Install enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems

+ Design and modify motor power control equipment circuits

+ Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

+ Prepare schedules and coordinate activities with other divisions and sections

+ Plan and execute work orders based on instructions, sketches, and drawings

+ Ensure accuracy and completion of all preventive maintenance duties

Essential Skills:

+ Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance

+ PLC troubleshooting and programming

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

+ Ability to perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems

+ Familiarity with Allen-Bradley equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs

+ Capability to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally

+ Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs

Work Environment:

This position operates in a non-climate-controlled environment on a 1st shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
